I was going to go for "wordless Wednesday" but...
I cant shut up.
Using a super huge circle punch,
and lots of hand cut fabric, I piled them on
and sewed..
Round and round, added a bit of nice string.
String's all in right now.
Then the recycled linen pants needed hacking into.
Why buy linen new when
the op shop has all you need,
and wash softened for half the price?
More circles cut.
Doilys stitched, "joy" stitched.
More groovy string. Everything
depression era is so chic right now.
Have you seen the classy interior shots
featuring pallets and fruit boxes?
Hung on a child size vintage clothes hoist,
they are all ready for the Markets at Eveleigh this Sunday.
I hope whatever you are doing is bringing you joy.
Even if it's the joy of rent being paid,
or falling into bed after a hard day.

ReplyDeleteWait till you get to France.....Linen in the Emmaus op shops is so beautiful and inexpensive. These decorations are lovely.
ReplyDeleteThe joy of rent being paid does not go unappreciated around here, no indeed. As to your tags, they will fly from the display. Wishing you a highly successful Market and continuing joy. xo
ReplyDeleteHey Grrl, fab tags, love the way your creative brain works.......
ReplyDeleteOp shop linen is the way to go, I always keep an eye out for linen clothing after cutting up a pair of my own duds. They were perfect for projects.....a nice worn look and feel to the fabric. Sadly I am getting down to the last few inches........
Love the clothes hoist with all your goodies on it, have a great market.
When I see your little pic in my side bar, it bring me joy.
